Just received news that 27 people have been arrested in Parliament Square under the Terrorism Act 2000 for holding signs saying "I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action".
This is real police state behaviour.

One of those things that you don't realise how good it is, until you get it back. A quieter world.
This is something I hear from almost every group I guide: the surprising silence in the cities and the countryside of the Netherlands, which after all is one of the most densely populated countries in the world.
It is so so so quiet here

I can hear a heron dipping its beak into the water and a cow mooing behind me

700,000 people live nearby and I can only hear the person walking their dog

Every 10-15 minutes a high speed train glides by

Our rigged system in a nutshell.

When the rich become richer, they can use their vast wealth to pour money into our democracy and rig the system to enrich themselves even more.

We must get Big Money out of politics.

Yet our bills go up? Why do we allow this con?!

🔥 This is important. Really important.

And none of the mainstream media are reporting it.

So please read and share — because we are the news community for ourselves and the “mainstream” media are utterly hopeless for meaningful news.

The government has been busy making new laws.

Lots of them. Across rail, education, planning, environment, housing...

But most people have not noticed. So, here’s a very handy roundup of progress/changes, including a full list of those new laws and which ones have already had royal assent. 👇

Yep. All across the world, money corrupts. We need a new way.
The oil industry buys off Congress. No action on climate.

The NRA buys off Congress. No action on guns.

Insurance companies buy off Congress. No action on health care.

The list goes on and on.

Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

You can delude yourself that Labour have over four years to turn things around before the next GE.

But make no mistake. If Starmer signs a hasty bad deal with the USA that prevents Britain from getting closer to the EU again, it's OVER. No ifs or buts.

Then it becomes a waiting game until the end.

A free tip for Keir Starmer

If you want to do better in the polls, stop obsessing with reform and simply do better.

Leave the disabled alone
Tax the rich
Nationalise infrastructure
Pay workers properly

It's quite simple!
