I literally got into beat em ups cos you can just sit down with or without a friend and just blow through them. I don't need to take a week off, we can just pick characters we like and bash away for an hour or so and just play.

I finished the 3rd TPB and I totally get people's dislike for King's version. Like I liked the design for the new Matriarch character but then I read the final issue where the Sovereign gets beaten and what it was setting up and it completely lost my interest.

I've been waiting for TPB for this to save money but I'll deffo pick this up, Stephanie is an incredible writer.

It has definitely grown on me as I've gotten older but it was the one I'd fast forward through bits when I was a kid watching it every weekend 😅
