They're starting them really young...

And then at the end they turn him into a real boy

Somehow

This entire credit sequence is just these three weirdos staring at you with the kid occasionally blinking "HELP" in Morse code

I also love how in old games they'd use weird monikers in the credits

there was a dude named "Chem Watanabe"
The credits screen of the 1991 Genesis game "Decap Attack". It's in some kind of lab. On the right there's a very suspicious-looking scientist with green hair and a mustache, grey teeth, wearing a purple shirt and a purple and green tie under a laboratory coat. On the left is a horrible ghoul creature who I think is supposed to be an Igor; he's hunch-backed, has green skin, matted black hair, an underbite, and eyes that appear to have black pupils and red sclera. In the middle is a little boy, which they somehow turned the mummy thing into. It's unclear to me if those are just the remnants of mummy wrappings on him or if he's being restrained, but either way it's creepy. Below this wonderful scene is the Producer credit, which is credited to "Rich Man".

I have defeated the Magical Hat no Buttobi Tābo! Daibōken

This is one of the freakiest player characters in any 16-bit or earlier game

He has a head in his chest, and his attack is causing his head to pop out like a fuckin xenomorph mouth!

Lol go get im

Fuck these spineless centrists
stochasticooze.bsky.social
I'd be more optimistic about this if the current administration didn't seem intent on bringing us back to the 19th century

The US is still the 2nd biggest producer of air pollution in the world, and we're the highest per capita

OMB axing a bunch of "green DEI programs" ain't helping those numbers

you're already seeing & will see more stories about how various attempts at reducing energy use "aren't working," etc -- those are propaganda. this is fantastic
renewableenergy.bsky.social
Huge historic turning point — Renewables surpassed coal as the world’s leading electricity source for the first half of 2025!

#greensky #energysky #renewableenergy
stochasticooze.bsky.social
Also reducing energy use isn't strictly necessary for the vast majority of people

It's the rich and the crypto farmers and AI generators that are using up the biggest amount of energy per capita

I actually wrote a 1000-word essay IN CLASS (it was like a 450 person class) on my PalmPilot, and then when they collected them at the end of class I showed the prof it on my PalmPilot and made up some excuse about my printer not working. They told me to email it to them. Think I got a B?

Bray is a historian at Rutgers who received death threats after landing on Turning Points USA's Professor Watchlist. As a result, he announced he was moving to Europe. And then this happened.

This kind of harassment and abuse of scholars is Charlie Kirk's legacy and it's only getting worse.

“Someone” cancelled my family’s flight out of the country at the last second.

We got our boarding passes. We checked our bags. Went through security. Then at our gate our reservation ‘disappeared.’

Lol I keep forgetting Alarmo is a thing that exists

I remember I once saw part of an episode where they argued about whether the Earth revolves around the Sun or vice versa

In both Phoenix and Vegas a clear sign of an out-of-towner is mispronouncing Pecos as "Pee-Cose"

In Vegas I also get Nellis mispronounced as "Neelis", which (1) is confusing and (2) makes me think of the worst Star Trek character
stochasticooze.bsky.social
Lol it's all those bot farms you're paying for obviously

Family. They hate the Fast and the Furious movies

I wonder what kind of intel one needs to decide it's okay to bomb a wedding

Did they also arrest a leprechaun and a wendigo
stochasticooze.bsky.social
Unfortunately that describes a good 30% of the population
stochasticooze.bsky.social
They threw Palestinians (and by association Arabs and Muslims in general) under the bus and then got mad when a bunch of them sat out the election

If they were that important, I guess they should've gotten some concessions, huh?

1) you wouldn't need independents (or at least not as many) if the Dems actually curried the left instead of just assuming their votes are a fait accompli

2) what other marginalized groups are you prepared to sacrifice?

3) why should those groups vote for a party throwing them to the wolves?

if every democrat doesn’t use the “we took freedom of speech away” on every messaging apparatus they have every single day for the next 4 years assume they want to lose

Trump: "We took the freedom of speech away because that's been through the courts and the courts said you have freedom of speech, but what has happened is when they burn a flag it agitates and irritates crowds."

"where's the left media?" "where's fact-checked reporting?"

lately @teenvogue.com has run profiles: of Assata Shakur's revolutionary history; a 23-year-old Palestinian journalist; what's happening in Chicago's ICE protests; and organizing supporting LGBTQ+ youth

Sure ICE is rounding up randos and sending them to El Salvador or South Sudan but as long as Johnny Republican gets his Medicaid so that he's well enough to start screaming about George Soros running the world and Dems being literal demons it's all good with Where's-My-Dick Durbin
ericmgarcia.bsky.social
Durbin on whether Democrats can use reining in ICE in Chicago as a precondition to rein in the government says “can’t do that. It’s gotta be health care all the way.”

Incredible.

Jack Posobiec references the earliest version of antifa -- the anti-fascists in the Weimar Republic who were opposed to the Nazi Party -- as the bad guys.
stochasticooze.bsky.social
So... we'll pardon the people who committed those crimes, EXCEPT for the supposed antifa infiltrators who incited it?
