Many thanks to our Judges Graham Scott, Jamie Phillips and Stephen Threlfall for their expertise on Saturday at our semi finals for the SIYMC. It was a wonderful day listening to some amazing young musicians. Winners to be announced soon for the Finals on March 29th.

Our final competitor today is Anna McCargow.

Anna, 23, is an award-winning British pianist based in Germany.

Passionate about classical music, Anna is actively pursuing a career as a soloist and as a chamber musician. She regularly performs with orchestras in Italy and Germany

Our fifth competitor is Yulia Mats.

She studied at the Kharkiv National University of Arts and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Piano Performance at Trinity Conservatoire in London.

Number four to perform is Wojciech Prazuch.

Wojciech is currently studying cello with Isang Enders at the Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" in Berlin.

Wojciech had lessons with renowned cellists such as Nicolas Altstaedt, Karine Georgian, Troels Svane and Miklos Perenyi.

Third up on stage is Jan Van de Watering.

At the age of 9 he started taking trombone lessons and at 15 he was given the opportunity to play with Brassband Willebroek, a leading orchestra at international level.
Currently Jan studies at the Royal Conservatory at The Hague.

Second on the stage is Iryna Marchuk.

Iryna began studying violin at the age of seven. At 15, she entered the Chernivtsi Music College and later continued her studies at the Lviv National Music Academy at 19.
In 2024, she enrolled at Trinity Laban Conservatoire in London.

Our first competitor is Doomin Kim.

He started to play the piano at the age of seven. In 2016, he decided to move to Paris and study with Michael Wladkowski at the École Normale de Musique where he obtained the Superior Diploma of Chamber music and the Artist Diploma.

Today we're holding the semi finals for SIYMC 2025. We have 6 competitors today and 3 will go through to the final which will be held on March 29th. Keep following for introductions to each competitor
