Frankly, a speed camera isn't sufficient for that type of stunt driving. That should have brought a police visit, and if we had the right legislation, demerit points and insurance reporting at a minimum (if we had the legislation for it.)
I mean they're not exactly wrong. The facts of vehicle speed and the damage they cause vs some few minutes of extra convenience doesn't seem sufficient for a certain segment. Trying political hypocrisy as an argument to engage their sense of outrage feels a valid tactic.
huh, hadn't heard of it before. taking a quick look seems it's pretty prevalent in the US South (logically enough given the name). I don't think we've got these typologies in Canada, nor is it something I've seen in the US east coast or northeast, which is the region I'm somewhat more familiar with.
