Beta player and I haven't played in about a week.

So many problems, stale gameplay, terrible monetization, a seemingly uncaring team.. too many good games out and coming to keep tied to a sinking ship.

It feels like the team lost all love for the game and instead only monetization matters.

Feels like all of the early players are just reaching burnout at this point.. there's really nothing of note new in the game and people wil only run on the treadmill so long.

I was in beta and I'm pretty much done at this point.

I left my account but put a tweet with my new socials, I won't visit it anymore because I don't want to support that mess in any way.

I get those too, I figured it was because I been playing so long I have most of the 700g items, or SD just wants more of my money.. probably a bit of both

My hot take is the deck is still too consistent with the cards from the players deck allowing them to run a barrage of counters.

Too many Shangs, Enchantress, and Shadow Kings coming out for a deck that shouldn't be that consistent.

Can't count the times I've thought no way they have Shang...

Always wondered about how fragile they were... I can't put a fat enough case on my regular brick of a phone so this is good info.

Mastodon reminds me of early internet communities, the hurdle to get in makes it more tech people heavy and the servers having a focus give it a bbs/message board vibe.

Not for everyone but i find it quaint.

If he really wanted to make a statement he'd leave the platform.. but alas.
