Several coffee shops in Canada have renamed their Americanos in protest at Donald Trump’s tariffs on the U.S.’s neighbor.

Despite most coffee shop owners wanting to remain apolitical, the trend of renaming the popular drink to the more appropriate “Canadiano” has taken hold across the country.

Last quarter Meta generated $14.25 per person who used at least one of their apps, and I find it somewhat insulting that the price of American democracy feels rather cheap at an individual level. Anyway I deleted my Meta accounts and will be treating myself to a $15 cocktail in the near future

Okay, I cannot recommend 5calls.org enough. Enter your address and it will find all your reps (federal and state). AND give you a list of issues to call about AND which reps to call about each of them AND a little script for each, in case it's helpful. They have an app, too.

The Tulsa Race Massacre was not committed by an uncontrolled mob but was the result of “a coordinated, military-style attack” by white citizens, the Justice Department said in a report. It was the first time the U.S. government has given an official account of the 1921 massacre of Black residents.
