Got laid off as an app developer earlier this year, and job hunting has been extremely fruitless. Currently fighting the urge to buy one of these and just sell coffee by bike.

Not every hardware trip needs a trailer (or a car/truck). Most of the time, a milk crate or pannier can handle the job quite nicely! If only they would install bike racks so I wouldn’t have to lock to a tree. @thewaroncars.bsky.social

Apparently I’ve had the clear ones for 2 years, found this gem from Dec ‘22. Since then, I’ve added neoprene bar mitts (pogies) and switched to waterproof boots instead of tennis shoes with 2x socks.

100% agree. The problem comes in when the city plows every bit of snow and ice from 4-lane roads onto the sidewalks. That stuff is nearly impossible to shovel. See: Bardstown or Taylorsville (and I’m sure many many others)

I am envious! There is essentially no way to get to mine without crossing Louisville’s ring expressway, which means this road. I’ve done it once, and it really sucked. Not attempting with the trailer.
