Once you connect it to the Switch you can freely drive around if that's what you mean. But you can't race obviously without being able to make a track. And you can't unlock the fastest speeds without winning some Grand Prix.

Surprised by all the negatives in the replies here, most people I read who played it were more like "oh, this is actually just fine". It does what it sets out to do, it's hard to knock it if you're into party games

I tried one of these once and it felt kind of good in the moment, but over time I started to develop a kind of persistent soreness and stopped using it. Felt like maybe a bad idea to continue to use without doctor advice.
