She is covered by the fact that it's her house, but also we've established that, in situations like this, Hope will be permissive almost to the point of subservience toward those she believes Pandora wronged.

Admittedly I HAVE been wondering if something is going to happen to Hope now that she just apparently violated Pandora's oath never to tell mortals about Ragnarok.

I originally assumed Pandora thought that little of Ellen too, but then we got the page where Hope revealed that Pandora's sacrifice happened a lot sooner than she could have predicted and she was nowhere near done properly updating her magic memoirs that she had been slacking on for decades.

Remember, the kind of stuff Raven did for the school was done WHILE HE WAS THERE. It didn't have to be automated to activate entirely on its own, which is the key problem brought up in this page. (Also the mass sleep was Abraham's doing.)

Voltaire has been in Edward's house before, back before the changes to immortal law. It's a reasonable guess that he studied the home's defenses back then, and thus could advise the otherworlders on how to bypass them. (1/2)
