NDOT will schedule work to avoid the busiest travel times, but drivers should allow extra travel time and expect traffic delays. The project will repave sections of aging asphalt to provide a smoother drive.

What to Expect (continued):
🔹Weekend work: Fri 7 p.m.–Mon 4 a.m. during marathon paving weekends in Oct/Nov
🔹Brief intersection closures at Waltham Way and Electric Avenue, with marked detours

What to Expect:
🔹Short sections reduced to one lane in each direction between I-80 and southern Electric Avenue
🔹Weeknight work: Sun–Fri, 7 p.m.–5 a.m. (Sat, Sept. 27 for initial work)

Residents can use the window to renew vehicle registrations, register new vehicles, or handle basic title work without leaving town.

• Drive slowly (under five mph) and watch for pedestrians
• Northbound traffic only on C Street
• You must show the postcard you received in the mail to access the Post Office during the closure
