Gamer. I paint miniatures, build worlds, design games, hike, cook, and generally try to enjoy being creative. I'm snarky, irreverent, cynical, supportive, adaptable, and my social skills are meh. Banner courtesy of @andreriveraart.bsky.social
I suggest checking out Draw Steel (I've heard the social mechanics are inspired by another game but I can't recall which); success pool versus failure pool, see what fills up first, with auto win and auto fail conditions. Knowing your target is a big help.

Probably the lack of an interstate or US highway system. Intrastate roads sometimes meet up at borders but most (legal) long distance travel is via airship or plane.

Oh and the airborne major metropolises. That might seem weird.

That is a man who could've had a career portraying scary-yet-ultimately-lovable personifications of death, had he so chose.

Look Trump's entire playbook fits in an index card with space for a decent recipe.

1. Threaten

2. Call it a hoax

If all else fails
3. Kiss up to them

Funny you should say that as there was a screenshot from the Space Marine 2 trailer going around involving particular angles while running in Phobos armor...

Sentencing each other to death for even the most minor made-up offences. Dying in a creative and spectacular manner gets them social status and it entertains the rest, so it's like a twisted talent show.

Could be a problem after a few (population) explosions, so it's now forbidden to kill them pretty much everywhere.

They are not very bright, they are mostly harmless, they don't eat, drink, or produce waste. Nobody's sure if they actually need to breathe. They are mischievous and just keep /

A posthumous pardon.

I modified that for one of my worlds.

You see, I made them immortal. They can die, they just come back. And being cut into pieces is how they reproduce, as each part comes back, with the largest piece retaining the original personality.

People quickly realized that this /

So let's talk about the blue fuzzy kobolds.

Fredrik K. T. Andersson (lots of nsfw stuff so be careful if you search) did a series of comics featuring these fuzzy blue kobolds getting into mortal peril. The lore being that being sentenced to death is standard but a spectacular death is worth /

Don't know; maybe going for a Phobos pattern equivalent, something lighter and more assault-y?

Kinda a halfway point between the Warriors' armor and the Aspirant bodysuit
December 11, 2025 at 1:48 PM
Is that the Warriors set? I think that one came before the Tactical set, or at least that's how I remember buying them.

On the upside, I think the skirt armor on the Warriors is a separate piece in the STL, so in Blender it could be copied to the Tactical models.

Gotta go with the nighttime camo suggestions. Not great for this video but might be something for a future one (where it's on purpose); mix in some OSL, and hey. I'd watch it.

Voting should be 1) mandatory 2) a regional/national holiday depending on the election

Clarification question: is the final duel or the fucking (or both) the thing that's happening atop a YB-49?

So I'm guessing none of the Independent staff played the Arasaka ending in Cyberpunk Red and talked to Jackie's engram, huh.

Cyberpunk dystopias are like work simulation games. So long as they're not too accurate in their depictions of real life, it's entertaining.
December 10, 2025 at 5:28 PM
I enjoy the mysterious near-omniscient character who's obviously a villain but playing the extremely long game so they seem to be just chilling.

Where it's a case of, sure, they can answer your questions and assist you, but every interaction furthers some malevolent plot in an unknown way.

Why does 'not everyone has the stomach for it' always come across as a polite way of saying 'not everyone's okay with being this unethical?'

When I was writing up my rainbow elves, each house had its own take on immortality, perfection, and death. One house saw perfect memory of those who passed to be immortality. Another saw perfection in a single task as immortality. Yet another believed everything crumbles, but together we are eternal
