Someone that I knew (and crushed on) in high school just passed away at 62 and I'm in such a state of shock. He was one of those extremely impressive people whom you thought would be around for a long time. :(

Ravens and crows are fascinating birds. I once travelled to Nunavut for a children's book tour, and wowsers, the ravens were HUGE! Folks who lived in Nunavut viewed ravens like we view raccoons, but I think they are magical, mystical creatures. #Ravens #Crows #Gouache
