IMO one of the big reasons that there are no movie stars anymore is that they all decided they’d rather be commercial actors.
Sure, franchise mining, prestige TV & streaming have all played a part…

IMO one of the big reasons that there are no movie stars anymore is that they all decided they’d rather be commercial actors.
Sure, franchise mining, prestige TV & streaming have all played a part…

I remember just a couple years ago when various people in the games media repeatedly came to the defense of the Microsoft acquisition spree, implying that people were just mad because they were Sony fanboys. Now the same people are so upset at the obvious & inevitable results. Makes my blood boil.

I wish I liked Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 as much as everyone else. I really loved the first few hours but 20ish hours in and I’m really souring on it.
At the very least the horrendous platforming levels should disqualify it from any game of the year talk, optional or not.

Why is #AppleMusicforArtists so broken? It took 2 weeks & 3 submissions to claim my kid’s band’s page & now I can’t log in anymore.
And they’ve put a bunch of Hip Hop/R&B/Soul artists in the “similar artists” line-up, when the band is punk. WTF?
I hate that Spotify for Artists is so much better.

Several hours into playing Split Fiction with my kid and while the writing is 6/10 at best, the gameplay is absolutely insane.
The most inventive, exciting and fun shit I’ve done with a controller in ages. It’s like Astrobot and Portal 2 co-op had a baby and hired Warioware to be the nanny. 11/10!

Went to see Mickey 17 and that new Thunderbolts teaser was wild. I never thought I’d see Marvel trying to convince everyone that their new movie is an A24 joint.

IMO Fil at the “Wings of Pegasus” channel on YouTube is doing THE most important work in the music industry right now - exposing all the pitch correction, lip syncing and other fakery being used in the studio, on TikTok and even “live” on stage at huge concert tours.

Has anybody else noticed their iOS Mail working like shit after turning off all the #AppleIntelligence crap? I find the features intrusive and obnoxious so I turned them off but now it takes FOREVER for my emails to load.
Feels like it’s stuck looking for the AI shit and can’t find it.
