Lastly, I had to capture the Orion Nebula on its own. IMO, it’s the single most beautiful thing in the night sky.

Captured with a ZWO Seestar S30. Exposure time 3hr 30 min.

Ultimately, I had to return to my bread and butter. I’ve been itching to recreate this shot ever since I first tried it. This time with the Seestar’s new 4k option. I was able to do try it in the perfect location.

In a hobby where the majority of problems can simply be fixed by throwing money at it, I found it refreshing that just the simplest (relatively speaking m) tech could capture something so special.

My first astrophotography project was making a star trail video using my old iPhone, and since I’m here I decided to do it again.

There are progressive voices in Mississippi that have thrived on this platform. This is unfortunate.

What I mean by outlandish, cause why would I aim at the empty space between 2 different targets?
This is only 21 minutes of exposure. I’m aiming for 2 hours minimum

It’s not a crazy number considering I usually write 1,000 words a day for my work and some people write 2,000 a day. I’m pacing myself at 500 a day cause my brain ends up fried.
