Having watched an LP of said game: it's sad how it (and many games) have such a strong start then peter out in the later half. Once you leave the manor it's kind of a mess of a game

I had a similar experience like this a few days ago. If it helps to hear, like...you paid attention now, and you presumably are going to try to do so more in the future. You've had an experience that gave you a net positive. I think that's worth celebrating!
