today started off cold and icy, and then cold and sunny so it was a good day to roast a chicken. I'm really pleased with how it came out. air fryer roasted potatoes as a side because we're still in vacation mode, with a pan sauce with lemon, garlic, and thyme.

no cooking for me this Thanksgiving. i generally do some kind of roasted pork and was surprised to find a delicious pork roast option for lunch, so it feels like TGD. it’s been a year dealing with serious health stuff but i am happy and thankful to say it’s all resolved. and so we’re on vacation.

you can freak out over the new alleged Senate “deal” or you can remember it would have to also pass the House meaning: it would have to come back in session/seat Grijalva, discharge petition goes forward, new Senate bill is DOA in the House based on content.

here's what you need to know about Jared Golden: he totally failed in the moment. he was not only wrong, he was unconcerned about immigrants, children, the elderly, handicapped people, trans people, etc. Maine can do better.
