Daisy's been with us almost a year now and I think two since we started looking after her on occasion. She was 16 when we first met so she's pushing 18 if she's not already there. She's been a little off the last couple of days but hoping it's just a little spell. I love her so.❤️🐾🌼

It seems moody skies are a recent trend of mine. An attempt at a final beach day got rained out. The water was the same temp as one of our only summer showers. It's the time of year where we were the only ones on the beach.

I have big running goals but struggle with solo efforts. Signing up for all the races isn't super economical but it gets me where I need to be. I love the camaraderie and require the accountability. I am very fortunate to be surrounded by numerous community events both big and small, road & trail.

My very own seedlings. I killed a couple of peas and had a few cucumbers sprout but we are crossing fingers for everything else. I've declared war on goatweed but a bit of color has popped through. At least my earthworms are flourishing. Farm kid getting back to farm things.💚

The apple blooms are beyond full this year. The scent was remarkable. These are little old apple trees that line our little roads.

I haven't spent a lot of time running the roads lately but Bluenose weekend is a tradition. It was a little quiet this year without a few bodies and the weather didn't help keep people hanging about but more memories were made. Always a salute to our amazing volunteers and organizers. 🥰

Wacally Wabbit in Folly Lake, Nova Scotia was just what the doctor ordered. It was my first time out on these trails. It got a little messy but who doesn't remember the joy of mud puddles. Pretty sure Red Riding Hood's grandma lived out in these parts. So many shout outs to the amazing volunteers.

We are in the "F#ck Around" stage in our election process in Canada and I'm just really, really, really, really, hoping that Canadian's can take a lesson from the "Find Out" phase the Americans are living with because I don't prefer finding things out the hard way. Growth or whatever be damned.
