Y'know what same with ppl who disregard insects, there's so many fascinating things about insects and their behavior is so much more complex than we could ever imagine like some insects have the ability to LEARN some insects are able to TEACH things we thought you needed a brain to do!!

And I fear this is pretty normal also we keep getting ppl moving here from up north and out west bc they think small town Alabama is some christian apocalypse haven and not riddled in meth and gun crime with no jobs and no money and no infrastructure

The local Facebook group is run by a conspiracy theorist, half the group thinks an alien invasion is about to happen, someone's dog got killed and the owner threatened to reveal everyone in town he sold meth to over it, they tried to plan to hide guns in the caves

Well actually flourocarbon can get rly expensive but it's mostly used as a leader with braid so I feel that offsets the cost by a lot... And you don't need to spend that much for good flourocarbon

The most expensive line in spin fishing is gonna be braid and that averages around $30 bucks and here I am looking at $70 fly line bc it's a cute color

I get very emotional when I catch a fish it's exciting every single time, it can bring a lot of joy to you when you're rly in the shit y'know? And you can just enjoy the water and sounds and enjoy life for a minute

An entirely synthetic fish is finally back in stock after I've been waiting for like 4 months and I'm so torn bc I was gonna get braiding sweetgrass and the serviceberry with this paycheck but I've waited sooooo long for this book 😭
