Is selling on cars and bids better than selling on BaT? My uncle is considering selling his Pontiac GTO on there but he asked me for help where to sell on.

Which is why I'm kind of excited that Google actually put out a decent bit of Open source AI kit. Now the plebeians like you and me can try and find a decent use case for llms. Me personally, I want to try and use this to improve workflow to speed through a lot of tedious documents for patients

It will when they find someone making the killer app, copying the killer app and then running it better on gemma3. That's Google's playbook.

Market share of the LLM open source market. I think LLMs suck right now, you're right. But Google hopes that someone out there can hopefully come up with a "killer app" to make them useful. Making them more efficient is smart as it allows them to democratize LLMs to people with less compute

Dominance of workflow improvements. As someone who is interested in LLMs, I want to hopefully (after I finish med school) to implement this technology to create medical LLM that I can run locally in accordance to HIPAA to help work through patient files and such. LLMs are a great summary tool imo.

Also, asking if an open source project is profitable doesn't really make sense. Do you ask if Android is profitable? Is Chrome profitable? Rather, the question to ask is, are the implementations of it going to be profitable, and google wants to gain marketshare that way. efficiency is the way.
