The corresponding image is certainly not a MAGA protest. It's a protest in support of public power. I found the juxtaposition quite jarring when I opened the TFP this morning.

This tracks with my classroom experience this past semester, too. I emphasized how much the broader Trump universe learned about the institution since '17. Project 2025 and the related planning of "the administration-in-waiting" during the Biden years prepared the authoritarian blitzkrieg.
