Stalin was referred to as a "fascist"... Given my family history (Russian Revolution, Holodomor, Holocaust), that kind of historical revisionism, combined with "we don’t owe you a debate", while i tried *explaining* myself in good faith, crossed a line for me.

For clarity: I support queer people and recognize the very real danger they face. My issue was with selective definitions of extremism and being written off by identity. I didn’t communicate perfectly, yes, but I was genuinely flabbergasted and tried to quietly withdraw. Screenshots below.

Мастер’s 1987 debut album includes the song "SOS", which retains the leitmotif, riffs, and general structure of Смещение’s "Стихия", showing the direct musical lineage.
In 2004, Мастер remastered "Стихия" for their album "33 Жизни", explicitly acknowledging the song´s roots in Смещение

A lot of this feels driven by urgency: "change must happen now"!!!..
I get the fear, but refusing slow processes and debate often leads to coercion. Rshed justice tends to recreate the same harm its tying to end.
AND GIVEN how its both sides, and that its "either you or them", worries me.

From where i am, debate is how arguments earn legitimacy. Hearing "we don’t owe you a debate" genuinely worries me. Politics here isn’t a lived personality [often].
it’s a process. When debate becomes a threat instead of a tool, extremism grows, and cycles of harm just repeat.

From where i am, debate is how arguments earn legitimacy. Hearing "we don’t owe you a debate" genuinely worries me. Politics here isn’t a lived personality [often].
