You absolutely do not owe anybody an explanation. I get looks often when I use my cane or one of the motorized scooters at the store because *gasp* "you're in you're 20s, you obviously don't need that". But I don't really care what they think, it's my body, and my comfort.

Honestly my favorite thing about DFW is the monorail system used to get around it. That's the only time I've ever been on anything even resembling a train and holy shit it was awesome.
