That's funny. The Rule of Law has never applied to all people in this country. If you're rich enough, laws are just inconvenient, and you pay a fine.

Maybe. But I'll have to see it to believe it. I can't remember the last time someone like Pillen, in this state, suffered any real consequences. Some speeches on the floor, that very few will actually hear in full, is just political theatre

I see some of it in a limited sense. But I also don't think there's anything resembling the will and organization to affect any change that will last.
The level of structural changes that would need to happen, won't. The dem "leadership" is always looking to compromise, and it always ends poorly

I'm not sure anything from 2021 is going to be able to grasp the depth of the corruption we have now. Nor the consolidation of media into the hands of the corrupt. It might be able to get the complete cowardice of the supposed "leaders" of the opposition party, but that's even beyond satire now.

I don't believe they're actually going to do anything different than they have done before. They're going to keep voting for whoever has R next to their names on the ballot. Until they show otherwise, it's just complaining.

Our All Big Ten RB won't be playing either, he declared for the NFL.
Our starting QB was done a month ago. The backup has an injured hamstring, and we might end up starting a D2 transfer.
And we haven't been able to do anything about stopping the run all year, especially QB run game.
