My take: Carney knows this will never fly for many reasons. But it keeps AB, SK happy so Carney can get on with important other stuff. He's not a stupid man.

For every criticism I hear about Carney, my single word back is...Poilievre. THAT is who would be leading us if Carney wasn't. And that is not a solution.

Everybody...chill. Carney has been presented a situation by Trump that is IMPOSSIBLE. Think about that before criticizing any Canadian politician these days. Whatever was promised pre-Trump likely needs to be adjusted.

The problem now is how can anybody know what is true anymore? Even videos and audio can be made up. So we can't trust our senses.

I'm afraid you're missing the point. Even if the team of l saboteurs disappeared today, then goodwill, trust, relationships do not return overnight. Takes generations, if ever. Like when a young adult becomes independent of their parents, they discover a new way of living.

I'm not flying in the US. I feel others think the same. Why? Because we have a choice. This reason is true now for other things too.
