Sounds lovely. Cold turkey is one of the great things about Christmas. I'm not sure I'd be ready for it at Christmas if I'd just worked my way though one for thanksgiving.... but there again.....

Is that a meat and potatoes pie? I grew up eating these, and still one of my favourites on a cold day

That's what I thought. It's good to hear from a more experienced weaver that the route I was planning will not be a waste of time. It will be more of placing the weft down rather than beating it. I'll see how it turns out.

Thanks 😊

I'd be interested. The holes are where I teased out the warp . It beat down much more than I expected, even with a light touch. Its a much softer yarn than I usually work with.

I remember my mum making it at times - she’d also make neck o’mutton. In my head the two dishes go together - not on the table though :). I can t remember what she’d put with the mutton, boiled potatoes to mash into the gravy I think

I'm not sure, but I think window blinds for Ed. They were originally going to be cushion overs, but they are to holely

I was there! :) I brought a jumper kit from UK Alpaca, steel pointed sock needles - and started a Christmas list :)
Also loving that you are a fellow weaving sci-fi reader :)
