likewise i really enjoy seeing my friends pick up their old interests and being able to pick up on how much their love for that art affects their work now. which was the inciting incident for this post. i generally think these are unhelpful critiques but for observations i find it quite sweet

i don’t really keep up with manga anymore nor do i consume it as voraciously as i did as a child but i do think a lot of my current love for linework and inks can be traced back to the hours id spend tracing out of my trimax volumes and my KH manga volumes…
