Stop trying to figure out how to fix The System from within The System. The System is designed deliberately and can't be fixed from within. The System can also change its own rules at any time to protect itself. The System needs to be destroyed and replaced.

Every time I see a major fighting game tournament with a bunch of side tournaments, I'll see brackets for SFA2, [sometimes SFA3], SF2, SF3, SF4, and SF6. Notice how SF5 is missing. Almost like it's a terrible game that nobody likes and anyone saying otherwise is an idiot or full of shit.

I'm not THAT surprised I've gotten as into Infinity Nikki as I have. It's got the open world exploration I was looking for with minimally difficult puzzles and combat because sometimes I just don't want a challenge. And, not gonna lie, I've always been fascinated by women's fashion.

This was a pretty light year. Slipped up quite a bit by doing other things with My time.
Our last FGC tournament at the arcade is tomorrow, and it's two of My favorite games, and I just don't feel up to it. It's going to take everything I have to pull Myself there, along with the equipment, but after that I don't know if I'll have the will to play. I'm really struggling internally.

I struggle every day just to function, much less be happy. Whenever I find something that provides a little joy, someone with a lot of power has to take it away. I've never wanted to be alive, and with each passing day I see less reason to stay alive.

Most of the time, a bad game is the fault of publishers forcing things to be rushed or forcing creative decisions that make no sense. But in the case of HxH Nen Impact, I think the devs are just genuinely bad at their jobs and should find other careers.

Lately, I've noticed a lot of YT videos from various producers that have multiple takes of lines left back-to-back in their videos, and I'm not sure if it's a clever way to grab attention when you hear it and have to double-take, and possibly to drive you to comment, or everyone is getting sloppy.

I love the autism of the JRPG community. Someone just made MSPaint maps of every area in the critically panned 30-year-old Beyond the Beyond. Unless there's a new speed running community or something, there's no demand I see for it. No money or fame to be had; they just felt like it.

Compromise is easy when you aren't giving up anything. For example, when the LGB community suggests "dropping the T" because it's "political poison." Sure, the LGB got what they wanted [for now] so throwing their T brethren under the bus doesn't really bother them [for now]. CoMpRoMiSe.

An aspect of Japanese that doesn't always work when translating is how Japanese doesn't usually refer to someone with a gendered pronoun. They exist, but people will either say a person's name, or the subject is implied. So when translating, localizers add pronouns to sound more native.

Why is Youtube so fucked? Every day the desktop version switches between the old player style and the new mobile player style. I'm not updating anything or even closing Firefox, but videos I open switch between the two styles randomly on a daily basis.

Back when I was running Widows 7 and a PS3, I had a simple media server set up that worked perfectly. Now that I'm on Linux and PS4, I can't get any of this shit to work. Why is more "advanced" technology stuff harder to use and just worse?
