🎨 68% of artists are willing to create more than one piece. Therefore, Tale as Old as Time artists are required to make a minimum of two fully lined/rendered pieces (with or without complete backgrounds) over a four month creation period, with room for creative freedom.

✍️ 61% of writers are willing to write 15-25k words for this event. Therefore, Tale as Old as Time writers are required to write a finished fic with a minimum of 20k words over a six month creation period. Multi-chapter works must be completed before the end of the event.

Question: How much of an idea/outline are we expected to have in order to pitch? We leave that up to your discretion as the writer, but we will share pitch guidelines for participants at the end of the sign up period to ensure that anonymous pitches more or less follow the same format for artists when it comes to claiming!

Before our interest check opens tomorrow, an important message from the mods 📣

Remember, Big Bangs are NOT selective! All writers and artists who sign up to Tale as Old as Time can create a work for the project, as long as they follow the rules ✨ We can't wait to hear from you tomorrow!
We would like to address the subject of some of the comments we have been receiving in our ask box. Firstly, no one participating in this event is required to work with or even interact with anyone they are uncomfortable with. Secondly, anyone found to engage in harassment, hate speech, plagiarism, or use of generative AI within the confines of this project will be swiftly ejected. We are a mod team of like-minded, level-headed people incredibly passionate about bringing the fandom together. We are running this event in our own free time in the spirit of goodwill and friendship. We’re not law enforcement and we will not conduct background checks on creators signing up to this project. We hope to create an event where folks can work together to make art in a safe, harassment-free environment. Sometimes, this means respecting boundaries and philosophies different from our own. If you’re comfortable with this approach, we encourage you to sign up. We’d love to have you on board! Any further unconstructive comments in our ask box will go unacknowledged. Q10: Would it be possible to co-author a work?
Question: Would it be at all possible to co-author a work? I'd like to say I could finish a larger project on my own but it's a little out of my depth and historically I've felt more inspired/motivated when writing with another author. Answer: Absolutely! If you’d like to co-author a fic with another writer, you’re very welcome to sign up together and pitch as a team.

Question: Is this GoGe or SatoSugu? Answer: We are using the ship names interchangeably, i.e. SatoSugu/GoGe, not SuguSato/GeGo. All NSFW pieces created for this event must be GoGe (top Gojo x bottom Geto).
