50 something cancer fighter determined to still be here longer than my prognosis. Otherwise 25+ years as a charity leader and CEO and now consultant to the voluntary sector
For context, my prognosis is now less than 6 months and I fear the alternative of good palliative care does not exist. I was assured I would not need to be in pain. I have been in excruciating pain now for 3 weeks, can barely move and getting support is proving to be challenging.
