Shrinking the state relative to per capita wealth has always been the goal, it just seems that the "left" governments have wanted to make sure people don't starve to death... so they can generate more wealth disparity that they get a cut of. Again though it's not like this stuff was ever hidden

Like people knew this would be the result of Regan and Thatcher's policies of puting international finance and neoliberal policies to weaken states. What gets me is how people are so surprised just because through the 90s the tech consumerism boom proliferated conviniences.

More and more as I see the failings of Dems to do anything but flail and then capitulate or even call for unity with him the more I think Trump is just openly exposing what was there before anyway. At least in America and the UK with first past the post system it's a bought system he was inevitable.

When financial institutions (which again human INVENTION to manage large finance) back austerity for decades and that human life should be 100 humans owning as much as millions of others... You do not need the numbers. You are not a better politician by engaging in kayfabe or suspending disbelief.

Haha I'll no doubt watch it too but I found the story a bit jarring between the extreme serious and comedic stuff. And her character seemed to also jump around a bit.
Hope it gets a bit more into a less global more focused storyline with more source material references.

Sorry but MORE CHAOS PLEASE! We've seen the established politics of "sensible adults" disenfranchising the public and I'm sorry but most of the public are APOLITICAL which means if we want to engage them there's going to be unprofessional short-term ideas and chaos as people engage!

- But Reform had like 5 itterations over 15 years and took 3 years to lead the polls like they do.
