Probably the most ambitious pano I've shot, given each vertical frame is at 170mm (tiny field of view) which required about 40 individual frames to get the correct perspective. For context the older wide angle frame shows how far away I am from this view

Black and white for some reason still seems to be perceived as a bit niche (in my experience running this gallery anyway) hence I don't print much of it.
The horizon wasn't blurred in Photoshop, I just waited a long, long time for some sea fret and a high tide :-) #blackandwhite #longexposure

One of my favourite images that I've taken in recent years, during a group workshop that encapsulated the Lakes very well that week: 4 days of utter drudgery in the rain with an hour of biblical light 😆

A wild afternoon years ago at Wasdale when the lake turned into a bit of a seascape, could barely stand up #landscapephotography

I’ve been off a lot of socials for a wee while (too much golf 😂) with the odd post here and there, here’s one from Harris looking back to Skye on a stormy morning

Shooting panos for a gallery with a commercial mindset can feel a bit soulless, in the moment you want to see the back of cam result however with these you don’t get that joy. V. pleased to see the end result come out so well from a special moment. This is about 1.2m wide #landscapephotography

I've been trying/failing to get a good panorama for gallery sale of Wastwater for a long time - crikey last night it light delivered. Committed to the shot so unable to get a single frame of the full double-arc rainbow, however was more than happy with this. 17 frames across #landscapephotography

A rather epic morning on Luskentyre - image can probably best be summed up as:
'weather'
Literally every type you can think of in about half an hour. I'm sure there's a good reason why I'd left my camera on 16:9 aspect, but it isn't forthcoming.

A favourite image from Holme Fell that did well in the NLPA and a rare black and white - I've really got to 'see' the image at capture as black and white for me to do them, it's rare I'll try them in colour then convert to B/W later #landscapephotography

Probably about as polar opposite from my last image as it gets really - a well known little tarn in rather bleak conditions #photography

Skagsanden at night - one I’ve left for a year as I knew it would be a pig to process, and it was 😂 #landscapephotography

Random roadside shot somewhere on the road to Eggum in Lofoten - could barely see 50 yards infront of me in a blizzard but was glad I stopped! #landscapephotography

I rarely (well never) venture into ICM though Harris is as good a spot as any for it. I’ve no idea what I’m doing with this stuff though this looked quite nice #landscapephotograpy

One from Abbots Bay a few years ago - an often shot scene though I’ve not had better conditions than this for how I’d like to portray this little corner of Derwentwater

First time I’ve reshared this since taking it 2 years ago - not a huge fan of sharing old work though there’ll be a few on here likely not seen this image. Seems appropriate for the current conditions in the UK which makes a nice change 😀

From yesterday - bit of a bust in terms of what I’d planned but a useful trip out to test the Z6iii, can confirm it’s performs like every other modern camera 😂
