because of pacing and rushing some things stuff felt like “why did this even happen” like what kind of character development happened for eddie while he was in texas that was sufficient enough for that whole storyline? why did maddie get kidnapped? did we need for everyone to forget hen’s bday?

bobby’s death also added to the pacing issues. way too much going on and now you introduce an atomic bomb so close to the end- they tried to “resolve” everything but again felt rushed.

the decision behind the scenes to kill off bobby kind of screams “drama for dramas’ sake” like they did it for some kind of shock value w/o thinking about his arc as a character

big thing that stood out was that the pacing was off for me. eddie’s texas thing and bobby’s death arc felt rushed, these should’ve been bigger focal points for the entire season imo. many eps had enough content for two and it’s clear that time wasn’t allocated well.
