Since then, Gabby Giffords has dedicated her life to ending gun violence with @Giffords.Org. Today and every day, we hold the victims’ loved ones, survivors, and the entire Tucson community in our hearts. We work to #EndGunViolence so no one will be forced to experience their pain again.

Andre was a strong advocate for the Black Lives Matter movement, and he was wearing a BLM shirt when he was murdered. Police violence IS gun violence. In honor of Andre and the loved ones forced to mourn him, we fight to ensure that no one else experiences their pain. #BlackLivesMatter

Andre was a devoted father and grandfather of three. His daughter, Karissa, said “he had such a great energy when he walked through the door. You know I just couldn't wait to see him, couldn't wait for him to get off work and come home…Everybody loved him.”
