I'm with Michael on the last question. I think giving Issa this full offseason to hopefully make the appropriate deals, which will probably include some risks, and that will give us a clearer assessment of his capabilities as a GM.

Because that team should have 100% won the cup. That was a manager issue not a player one.

Honestly, I don't see next year as a trophy year. A LOT of variables because it's not going to be a traditional MLS season. Having said that, I would be very happy to be wrong. I would like to get past the first round though.

Completely understandable, but I can also see Nancy not making any moves depending on what guarantees he gets from the FO regarding 2026 roster. Also, the team signed him to a new deal last year because they know he will be a hot commodity.

That's gonna be a tricky one, and 2026 being a world cup year is going to throw A LOT of teams and players in flux for the summer and winter windows.

I'm not necessarily laying blame here. You can't fault a GM or coach for when injuries happen, it's the planning part. 2026 is going to be a tough year for every team. The summer and winter windows after the world cup are going to be 🔥

Gotta find some buried gems.

100%, but also, the second line in the depth charts. It's tough to find decent to serviceable players that will accept the role of backups though.

I have to look into it more, but we are probably looking at maybe somewhere between 30% or more in roster turnover. That's a tall, no pun intended, task. This offseason will say a lot.

Trust me, we are trying. It's just taking longer than we would like. In the meantime, we will try to add more on here.

Thankfully, we were restored earlier this afternoon, but what a bizarre sequence.

Thank you for posting this context. Our @massive-report.com account got suspended last night out of the blue. I have used tweetdeck on 3 accounts, but that one (the largest and most active) was the one that got suspended 😒
