It's not shocking to see, but it stings personally. Monster Hunter Generations was my second ever professional loc project and that game and Capcom's encouraging internal localizers gave me the boost in confidence I needed to feel I belonged in this industry. Nobody at Capcom needs AI to thrive.

I won't name names, but they span multiple disciplines and have made significant contributions to Capcom's games throughout their careers, including its biggest successes. These people are some of the loudest voices I've seen in the Japanese industry against AI and they appreciate what's at stake.

The comments in the ign page are so telling... sounds like straight up bots glorifying it. And the article itself is also kinda weird - the whole generating "thousands of unique ideas" is basically to generate environmental prop design... so here's a big F U to prop designers. SMGDH!

Big O should be at the top (especially Season 1!)

Well, I wouldn't say good... hehe, it was okay. But, it was also my first, so I was really green, but full of passion and with the though that I might never do something like it again (which ngl, probably true? Heheh) so I was just trying to learn as much as I could.

Agreed. And it almost didn't happen, so it's kinda surprising that it even came out (it had a couple of rounds of pre-production teams and studios, producer shenanigans... you know, the usual for feature animation...) but I think we were trying to do something different for sure.
