accessibility consulting + education for inclusion
Earlier this year, we joined SeattleFWC26’s AAC members at a Seattle Reign game. As a bonus, the OneCourt team demoed their tactile broadcasting device. Through haptic feedback, the user can track the action on the field through their fingertips.
Thanks again to SeatleFWC26 and to OneCourt!

Here, we’re focusing on the exception which addresses outlets located in corners at spaces with countertops.

The residents’ stories underscored the profound impact that the stability of home can have. We’ve found adding the layer of accessibility only enhances that impact. When we can minimize daily frictions in the built environment, it allows residents to spend that energy on living a full life.

One-third of people living in the United States don’t have a driver’s license. Zivarts urges readers to “shift from a worldview where the system is centered on people who drive to one that is centered on people who need to get somewhere and who deserve a variety of options.”

It remains that in both new and existing buildings and facilities, it remains that an accessible route with a clear width less than 60 inches shall provide passing spaces at intervals of 200 feet maximum. In this case, updates to the standard are driven by modifications to the T-turn options.
