Husband and Wife. He writes, she writes and draws. We publish our own comics ... & hope to expand someday. 💚

Please have patience with us as we figure out a neat Publishing House tagline. ☺️😂

Persevere.

In the face of the scary.
In the face of the unlawful.
In the face of encroaching darkness—
Let us be our brave, beautiful, creative, kooky selves.

There are more of us, after all,
Than they realize.💚

So, I haven’t worked up the nerve to make a personal artist account.

We’re starting out with self-publishing, but certain posts would belong more correctly in my own profile.

I *did* want to add my little character Alma avatar somewhere on the header, though, since it’s what I’m using on IG.

After avoiding the inevitable, we finally watched the Fantastic Four:First Steps this weekend.

We LOVED it. Enjoying the Bonus features, too. Looking forward to listening to the Commentary!

Some time ago we published a comic strip online called BEST MANN FOR THE JOB.

We’re aiming to print it before the end of the year. It’s a done-in-one story in a comic strip format. The cover art will be this panel from the middle of the story.

It’s written by Chris Well and drawn by Erica Well.

Happy Friday!

After having watched the commentary by director Jake Schreier, we just love THUNDERBOLTS* even more😍

Yes, looks like we have a thing for lady sheriffs. Marva Wright’s story is set in reconstruction-era Arkansas.

So far my favorite cover of the Sheriff Wright comics published by @urbanlegendsmedia.bsky.social is to issue 2, drawn by @chriscross.bsky.social

The comics community has lost a legend.

“Controversial” is bandied about a lot when referring to him; but one thing is for sure, he was passionate about comics.

Jim Shooter was a force to be reckoned with. No small feat for a man who started his comics career at the age of 13.

Rest in peace, Jim.

Sometimes things we dream about doing take a long detour.

Or things we hoped to do don’t turn out the way we thought they were gonna.

And now the world is in growing turmoil and pain.

I still celebrate stories & comics because God gifted us to share that with each other.

And we need Hope. 🩷

First post!

My husband and I have loved comics since we were both little. I started with newspaper comic strips (!) and he with comic books. How we met and got married is a wonderful (& kinda long) story.

We make mini comics and aim to reprint them in larger sizes.

¿Qué Es Amor? is one of them.
