I say basically the same thing about my whole house, and myself.

I'm jealous. I put up the biggest cork board I could find, but it never occurred to me to just do the whole wall in cork.
My office space.

Is that a full wall corkboard?

There was a big high wall there that tried to stop me
Sign was painted, said, "Private Property"
But on the back side, it didn't say nothing
This land was made for you and me

There is magic in 20th century movie posters. So many painted posters are just stamped indelibly in my brain, even if I don't particularly like the film. Casaro's done so many amazing posters, some I know instantly, others are a surprise. How many of these do you know without knowing?

As with everything else in our dumb future, the movie poster is diminished. The images streaming platforms use for movies look so bad it's a wonder anyone ever watches them. And official posters since the 21st century have become...not as exciting. Certainly, less use paintings.

I've been thinking a lot about movie posters because I just went through my Plex making sure the movie files are associated with the original posters (with all the text, because they look weird otherwise) and I am struck by how important a public, popular are form they are.
