While Nintendo Music still needs an NSO subscription so technically isn’t “free”, I think Nintendo will want to charge the money for the full release, before offering it as part of the NSO package.
I would absolutely love to be proven wrong (ideally we get both) but I think physical will happen 1st

Don’t get me wrong, I would love this to be the case. But I think we’ll get a physical release first, and won’t see it on Nintendo Music for a while yet (over a year at least). Particularly in Japan, physical music releases for games are far more popular than the rest of the world.

I see. Honestly not something I know much about but looking at the releases on Wikipedia I get it. 3 releases in the past 10 years compared to 7 in the previous 10 😬

People have beef with Bandai Namco? I always thought that Bandai were a huge part of the reason Nintendo’s HD output (post-Wii era) was as high quality and plentiful as it was. Bandai Namco has the sheer workforce that helps bring to life the creative visions of Nintendo. Maybe I’m overselling it 🤷‍♂️

Yea, the point of flagging it is so that we can vote with our wallets as to whether we want AI to become commonplace. Which at the moment it seems very few customers do 🤷‍♂️

I can also confidently add to this that I like Animal Crossing, Minecraft, Undertale, Sonic, Club Penguin among other things 😁
