One of my favorite bites in Logan Square are the pork & shrimp egg rolls from Chef’s Special. They pair perfectly with the house hot mustard that has so much horseradish in it my skull rattles. Well worth the $6 for two of them during happy hour

My last grandparent passed last night (mom’s mom). We weren’t close ever really and her relationship with her children was always fraught but she always tried to be there for us. She was necessarily the best at it and my family wasn’t always the most receptive to it but she did try.
