looking at a photo of a library built in the 1890s and nodding at the newspaper display because at my first "real" library job 100+ years later we were still using those wooden sticks

Post a perfect album from the 90s that isn't Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, or Alice in Chains.

Last first day for Youngest, who walked off to their bus stop a little before 7am.

I see the most ridiculous cars around here. I used to watch Top Gear, and every once in awhile I see something they would’ve talked about on the show.

Today it was a Bugatti of some sort.

Lizzie ripped up her bed a couple of weeks ago. She loved that bed! Slept in it all the time! It was weird seeing her take it apart. J suggested it had gotten too small for her, so I finally ordered her another of the same, one size bigger. Given her response, I think he was right.

Oldest doesn’t cook much. His adhd+autism makes it tough to do, but today he really wanted nachos…

We dropped Kid2 off at camp with their suitcase, duffel and snack/drink/sundries box.

That action packer is at least 25 years old. J got it to haul stuff in the bed of his pickup, which was pre-kids. It’s been a dedicated camp box for 5 years now. Works as a nightstand as well as a treat safe.

She was such a cute puppy! Her ears looked like satellite dishes on her little head. She’s growing into a beautiful girl. Her coat’s been thickening up and it’s so pretty. She has caramel highlights behind her ears and in her tail.

From that spot she can see into the kitchen where the kids are. She’s half keeping an eye on them and half napping.

Truly awesome. The trains heading downtown from the ‘burbs were packed with people heading to the protest, plus there were big protests out in the burbs too. #Chicago

someone needs to make a library social media post that replicates this scene using an inventory wand

An climbed into the car and Lizzie immediately climbed between seats and into their lap, because her joy was so great she needed An’s arms to help squeeze it all in.
