It's not the ECHR, like it was never really the EU. It was always domestic politicians.

But the supporters of immigration often used both as an excuse to prevent change, as a checkmate argument.

Without political realism, the outcome will likely be the same for ECHR as for EU membership.

Simply, they lie that the ECHR prevents failed asylum seekers being deported. It does not. They use the term illegal immigrants but asylum seekers are not illegal

There is no such thing as taxpayers’ money. All money is created by government spending. Taxes destroy money.
