Up the Lilywhites
Can possibly quote all of Blackadder
The Diana Ross penalty? Retirement home for Messi's friends?

I've never really thought about "everything that benefits football as a result of America" - I'm sure there's many, what are they?

Politics is that way as well - transfer windows for PM, etc.

From the little I saw of it American tv seemed to cover the Ukraine invasion like it was a PL/NFL tactics board.

Pretty sure we do the same set piece every time - if teams don't leave a man open at the back post then nothing happens.

Everything's terrible - 20 wins in our last 70 games!!

Also, can't wait for long throws to be binned.

Err, Britain has worse right wing politics... really??!

America's cultural ubiquity means NFL terms like offense & roster are bleeding into football 🤮 How do we arrest this?

Gotta love a Blackadder reference.

Our board knows how to run financial businesses, not football clubs.

Frank and all the other hirings are part of the plan to build a corporation - they want predictable results. Sacking him puts their own jobs in question.

Yikes - you know it's abysmal when we're envious of 50 expected points

Gray's unlucky - what other team buys a CM for £40m and then has to play him in defence because our squad-building is so clownish. Likewise buying Tel for £45m and having no space for him in the CL squad.

It probably isn't accurate but it felt like we engineered moves so Udogie ended up on the penalty spot more than Solanke.

Doesn't Lula have cordial relations with Putin? I seem to remember him blaming the EU for the invasion of Ukraine.

As a Dane, Frank probably has quite liberal views - so we're keeping him forever because we like his politics?
February 4, 2026 at 7:58 PM
Cheers. Couldn't tell if it was opposition xG or something. Thanks.
February 4, 2026 at 7:00 PM
What's the difference between Op xg and xGA?

I think our expectations for Spurs are a lot higher than the rest of the country. This'll be the third season out of 4 where our league season has collapsed in a heap. We're become Everton.
February 2, 2026 at 9:43 AM
The upside of Spurs being unable to sign big names is young players like Odobert & Gray getting plenty of minutes, and noticeably improving. (Clutching at straws).
