When the part of my brain that wants to draw gentle tender things and the part that wants to write spooks/horror actually work togeher, I feel very satisfied with the comic. If only I could get them to team up more often.

I want to design a character to use as an avatar for book and movie reviews. What is the nerdiest, most joyfully opinionated creature, in your opinion? .. My mind goes to huskies, cats (in the dead of night sat on rubbish bins) magpies? 🤔

I want to explain a few things and then it might be clearer why UK trans people are upset.
In 2001 I married my wife, Sylvia.
In 2005 I started medical transition. (1/13)

A truly haunting effect of AI: it exposes how impoverised my own imagination has already become when trying to please the algorithm. I recognise something of myself at my worst in its bland regurgitation.

Really pleased with this drawing of a shoe I did in a half a second while trying to work out an idea. The platonic Ideal of a shoe. My greatest work yet.

(The one on the right, that is. The one on the left is vile, worse than sewage. It disgusts me)
