As much as I've heard that blackbirds appear to recognise human faces, I can't say "it came running towards me, because it recognised me". 😊

🤩 Never thought a Post-it note would bring me so much joy.

👏Back in July, it was a rare moment of courageous leadership seeing a someone taking ownership to deescalate a situation. I had asked for her manager's email, but misplaced the post it.

Mindfulness, in a way is like these spatulas.

It embraces the impermanence of life and allows you to be in the presence (like the solid spatula, embracing all the ingredients).

It fosters detachment or letting go (like the spatulas with holes, letting go of the excess oil).

Iron on its own is a tough metal.
But exposed to air and water, it begins to weaken from inside - it rusts!
Add a bit of 'carbon' into iron and you have steel - resits rust!

Likewise, our wellbeing can 'rust' if we don't practice self-care.
