It got to 43 here… couldn’t do anything.
Back again on Tuesday.
Some poor devils have it in the high 40’s for 6-7 days.
Has it cooled your way?

Fight fire with fire Wolfie, launch some 80’s faves at them.

He sounded Knackered on TV the other night.

Yeah,
I am very unsure about walking Matilda.
Rib area has healed beautifully thank goodness. Seems it may have been bruised not broken. Though ED Dr told me latter, GP since said xray shows no breakage.

I was determined to treat her as normal though, apart from the walk.

She is of a cool temperature land nature Wolfie, she’s just working to her DNA script and has gradually thawed to your Wolfie charm😏

They’re all different hey?
My Matilda is a “cling on” with me, I put her in my Jacket on a cold winters day when she was couriered to us at a meeting place (like a drug deal during COVID lockdown).
She was tiny and shivering it was a natural reaction,
she’s been a mummy’s gal ever since.

Small talk with strangers in a work/social setting is very awkward 4 me.
Conversely, I have been a teacher 4 a decade (adults), also 4 a decade I was a MC at a music festival.
I gave a eulogy at my late friend’s funeral, pretty much off the cuff, that was my proudest moment.

What do you mean?
January 21, 2026 at 4:11 AM
I know what you mean.
Same with most of Bob Marley’s back catalogue.

Love this track thanks DJ Wolfie

Is there smoke in the air your way?
If that is so and you have lung issues you need to call an ambulance particularly if you have had the split system on Wolfie. It should only be on the recycle cycle whatever that is.
All the very best mate.

I always said America has voted in the Joker from Batman.
Same coloured hair!

Just don’t over water they don’t like wet feet.
January 19, 2026 at 2:35 AM
I’m sorry,
Just they don’t need that much care in the ground.
In a pot I found much harder to gauge.
January 19, 2026 at 2:16 AM
No it’s not.
I went down that route and found the lemon notoriously fickle in a pot.
So I decided the next a Eureka lemon was going in a wind protected area in the ground.
I give it a bucket of water in dry periods and prune if getting leggy and feed in growth periods only.
It’s happy.
January 19, 2026 at 1:33 AM
Yeah go easy now would be my guidance as that sounds a lot of care, I had them in pots too, oddly it’s somewhat more difficult I found, very quick to deteriorate if you get things wrong, my 20 year old tree, lets me know when it is needing care now. Leaves drop off etc.

Chicken Poo good but sparingly only in growth periods.
Epson Salts is good too, if leaves are turning yellow.
Lemons don’t like competition either so no grass around the base or weeds.
I wanted one as a memorial for my late dad.
Until I planted it in a sheltered area (no wind) I had no success.

Have a slice cheesecake Duncan, I just spent most of the day making it shared it with friends and husband. Might help sooth your soul…. Stupid is as stupid does

Thank Ian that sounds a very compelling reason to use it.
Any down side?
January 17, 2026 at 1:30 AM
Oh yes I’ve heard of it but never used it.
What’s the advantage of using it?
January 17, 2026 at 12:51 AM
How’s the dog food?
