I just returned from 10 days in the Netherlands. Public transport is efficient and cheap is an example. The people there who engaged with me about our current situation felt sorry for us. I let them bring it up. Granted every country has their issues. But overall in some areas they are doing better

The most unqualified and vengeful people. Like the Joker was putting his minions in power.

So many have, upon hearing I am from the states, looking at me and feeling my/our pain and fear. I found this painting in the Van Gogh. I do not try to compare what people went through back in the 30-40’s to the situation in the US but I saw this painting and read the history and had sad thoughts.
