After doing this on and off yesterday, I have a newfound appreciation for just how far north the city goes.

Done with the 1, 2, and 3 in Manhattan and the Bronx. Debating whether to head to the Brooklyn sections or start on the 4, 5, and 6 the same way

Never mind, that's everywhere on the island, really.

I didn't plan to do the three extra lines and two tunnels here, but probably worth it to get them settled in now

feels like Midtown Manhattan is going to be just a constant effort to not block myself in down the line

Cheated by four-tracking both tunnels. I'm going to build the 2nd Ave Subway eventually, so clearly I dig unrealistic scenarios.

After posting this I realized I completely built tracks over where Exchange Place should be. Oops.

Not attempting to recreate the actual beasts that are the H&M tube junctions, but I'm still cooking up something hideous of my own here.

they saved a ton a cash by using existing freight rights-of-way, but looking at it from this angle makes you really wonder what things would have been like if a subway line ever got built down Archer back in the day

still thinking this general idea, but might need to squeeze the Glassboro-Camden Line in somehow now that it's actually making real-life progress

god, the building shortcuts are so nice in this newer version. makes me want to start the whole thing from scratch and go hog wild

Given that all the signs at Norristown TC still show "Route 100" in real life, rather than the two (!) more recent names that SEPTA gave it, I'll be sticking with that in the game.

got the full route done. no through-routing possibility at the moment, but it would be very easy to unite the 101/102 and the Girard Avenue line. next up will be squeezing in the NHSL

Lots of great opportunities for through routes if I can plan it out right. Might go back and four-track the line down Market Street to expand the options

9 is the full route, 4 is the old Chestnut Hill West to Center City via the Callowhill Cut route (now cut back to Mon-Sat daytime service, Broad-Ridge Spur sort of hours)
