I remember catching "Shalom Sesame" in the US in the early 90s and it was pretty cool. I even learned a few words and letters.

F the haters.

And due to the "curb cut effect," these fonts and pages are easier for EVERYONE to read.

Can't be having that, now.

The music and camera work in that film are stunning. I also liked Salt, but not Ava. I've been meaning to check out "The 355" soon. youtu.be/MyktpXSvjZE

It's the merger of the two that's an even greater problem. When Trump leans on Amazon for preferential treatment - or extortion - yikes. How do you boycott your own government? Who's your "competitor" tax or police department?

My 2020 treatment for stage 4 lymphoma was about $750k (billed to insurance) with one drug alone costing $46k/dose. I'm cured and thankful, but also frustrated at watching my fellow tree citizens voting for the axe every time.

HPV and Hep B vaccines are both cheap ways to prevent cancer. Can't have that (cheap and preventative). An expensive cure for existing cancer? That'll fly. 1/

These collapses in the past have always been localized; Rome would fall while China kept going, etc. Unilever and Google are "global" in a way that Nero or Caesar couldn't comprehend.

Or, as the President called it over and over in 2020: "herd mentality." youtu.be/bS3DHeMIOgw

The fight against the HPV vaccine was a warning. The COVID and Hep B fights just confirm that we can't have nice things.

Also a little giddy and complicit; they gain power this way too.

The risk, however, is that it spreads them thinly. If the tide turns, they risk losing multiple seats.

If we just give the "lunch money" bully what he wants, he'll leave us alone next time. /s

Sounds interesting. I'll put it on my calendar for a reminder. I'm in the west suburbs.

If they come back, they were yours. If not, they never were.

Not sure why not, but the algorithm hasn't sent your posts to me in a while. Time to interact with a bunch and turn the tide!

My friend recently made an "ugly sweater" cake for an event. I think it hit the balance of "more green than red."

This is also an age group that doesn't usually turn out in big numbers to vote.

The first time I had heard this song was actually when a ventriloquist did it. I had never heard anything like it before and was blown away - by a cover. The original? Breathtaking. youtu.be/6WahdIES7Gg
